your support has meant so much to us
Whether you’re a day one fan, or just now hopping along for the ride, we’re so happy to have you here experiencing “Coyote Smoke” with us.
Creating, and developing this song has been a labor of love with lots of trial and error in between. Thank you for being one of the firsts to finally hear it, in its finished form.
When creating our music, authenticity has always been incredibly important to us all. “Right Hook” is not only a fighting song, but a song about staying true to yourself, taking no shit, standing your ground, and holding onto your power.
RIGHT HOOK

Coyote Smoke draws a firm line in the sand with “Right Hook,” driven by Gabriella Toribio’s confident, disciplined delivery. While the lyrics carry a brawling edge, Gabbi never sounds reckless — especially on the standout line:
“I’m the queen of my follow through.”
It’s less about chaos and more about certainty.
The refrain — Say what you’re gonna say (move your lips) / Do what you’re gonna do (don’t be a bitch) — is built for crowd response, and the opening barroom ambiance drops listeners straight into the atmosphere before the groove locks in and an impressive guitar solo takes its swing.
Interview With Anthony Vito Fiandaca of “Seacoast Music Scene”
On February 21st, the band will exclusively release the track to attendees of the upcoming show at the Stone Church via a secret link, with a full public streaming release coming in March. Catch it live and get it first — exactly how a song like this should land.
The Interview -
Anthony Fiandaca: "Thanks for the privilege of getting an early listen to “Right Hook.” I was waiting to hear you actually say “right hook” in the song, but it never comes. How did you land on the title?"
Gabriella Toribio: “I’ll hand the reins over to Jordan on this one since he came up with the concept of the song ”
Jordan Cowley: “Hey man! Thanks so much for doing a little write-up on us "
"I started writing that song pretty early on when we formed the band. It felt like we were missing a whole side of Gabbi’s badassery, and I had this vision of her not starting a fight — but definitely ending it "
"I wanted a song that felt catchy but leaned into my early teen pop-punk era. I wrote the first verse and chorus, and Gabbi picked up the rest and flushed it out.”
Anthony Fiandaca: "Without being too specific, can you give us a little insight into what inspired it?"
Jordan Cowley: “I think we’ve all been in those places where we’ve needed to stand up for ourselves. We don’t need to worry about what other folks think, say, or do. We know our worth — and it’s all about the follow-through.”
Anthony Fiandaca: “Right Hook” is a single — does that mean an EP or album is on the way as well?"
Gabriella Toribio: “Definitely an EP is in the works!"
"I think the plan is to release a few more singles that will build into an EP .”
